Please note: The App is a **no-registration service**. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name or email address.

1.1 Health and Fitness Data (App Core Functionality)

We collect health and fitness data you manually input into the App to provide guidance and reporting services. This includes:

• Body Metrics and General Goals: Your weight, height, age, activity level, and general health goals.
• Custom Goal Input (Premium Feature): User-defined text input describing specific, advanced health objectives. This text is transmitted to our AI partner solely for analysis validation and report generation.
• Diet Log Data: Records of your food intake, nutrient consumption, calorie count, and macronutrient data.

1.2 User Content (Photos)

• Food Photos: When you use the photo analysis feature, we access your device’s **Camera** (for taking new pictures) or **Photo Library** (for selecting existing pictures) to capture images of your meals. These photos are securely transmitted to our AI partner for analysis. We **do not** store these photos on our servers.

1.3 Identifiers and Location Data (Advertising & Analytics)

These technical data points are collected for App maintenance, usage analysis, and advertising.

• Device Identifiers: We collect unique identifiers for your device (such as IDFV) to recognize your data logs, enable core app features, and facilitate advertising.
• Coarse Location: We collect approximate (coarse) location data, such as city or country, inferred from your IP address.

1.4 Usage and Diagnostics

• Product Interaction: Data about how you use the App, including feature usage, clicks, and time spent.
• Advertising Data: Information related to ad views and clicks.
• Crash and Performance Data: Technical logs, network performance, and stability data used for bug fixing and maintenance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes, as disclosed on the App Store:

• App Functionality and Personalization: To calculate nutritional needs, provide personalized meal guidance and reports, and ensure the App remembers your preferences without requiring an account.
• Analytics: To aggregate and analyze usage data, crash logs, and performance data to improve the App’s stability and features.
• Developer’s Advertising or Marketing: To promote our own features, new apps, or paid subscriptions within the App.

3. Third-Party Sharing, Processing, and Tracking

3.1 AI Processing Partner (Via Our Server)

We use Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash API for food recognition and nutritional analysis.

Your food photos and custom text goals are securely transmitted first to our private backend server located in Los Angeles, USA. This server acts as a secure proxy to relay the data to the Gemini API for real-time processing and analysis validation.

Crucially, we do not store your photos or custom goal text long-term on our server. The Gemini API does not use your data for training purposes or permanently store your photos or custom goal text.

3.2 Advertising Partner and Tracking (Crucial Disclosure)

The App integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to serve third-party advertisements, including rewarded video ads. As disclosed on the App Store:

• Tracking Activity: AdMob uses your **Device Identifiers** and **Coarse Location** data to link your activity in this App with data collected from other companies’ apps and websites (known as **cross-app tracking**). This is done for the purpose of serving personalized and targeted advertisements and measuring ad effectiveness.
• Health Data Restriction: We do NOT use your Health and Fitness Data for any advertising or tracking purposes.
• Your Control: You can disable this tracking in your iOS device settings by navigating to **Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking** and revoking permission for the App to track.

3.3 External Links Disclaimer

Our App contains links to external sites that are not operated by us. This includes, but is not limited to, authoritative citations provided for informational purposes. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these third-party sites, and therefore cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies or terms of service.

We strongly advise users to be aware when they leave our App and to read the privacy statements and terms of service of any external site they visit. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by VirNutri of the site.

4. Data Storage and Security

All your core nutrition log data and settings are primarily stored locally on your device (e.g., using SwiftData). Only data necessary for AI analysis, advertising services, and App maintenance (crash logs) is securely transmitted to our servers or our third-party partners. We maintain appropriate security measures to protect this data.

5. Your Privacy Choices

• You can revoke permissions for accessing your photo library at any time via your device settings.
• You can restrict ad tracking by disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in your device's privacy settings.
